TechnicAtome

TechnicAtome is a public limited company, 50,32% of whose capital is held by APE (Agence des Participations de l’Etat), 20,32% by NAVAL Group, 20,32% by the CEA (Commissariat à l’Énergie Atomique et aux Énergies Alternatives) and 9,03% by the company EDF.[i] It is involved in the new French nuclear ballistic missile submarine programme (SNLE 3G).[ii] The programme is aimed at replacing the four Le Triomphant nuclear armed submarines, with delivery starting in 2035.[iii] TechnicAtome is also involved in the Laser Megajoule programme, which simulates French nuclear testing.[iv]
